Am I obligated to tell my employer that I have filed for personal bankruptcy? What if I start a new job while in the process of filing for bankruptcy?

There is no requirement to inform an employer that you have filed bankruptcy however if the position is of a financial nature and you require bonding, they may do a search for bonding purposes.
